David Rosenthal, MBA, CFP® is the founder and a principal of Wealth Management Solutions as well as a financial advisor. His area of expertise is in working with corporate executives who possess complex benefit packages and small business owners with plans to grow and expand their business.

David founded WMS to address a local need for unbiased advice through fee- only financial planning. He began practicing in 1995 with Asset Management Group (AMG), a fee-only financial planning firm that provides comprehensive advice to Fortune 500 executives.

Throughout his five-year tenure at AMG, he had the unique opportunity to work closely with top C-level executives (Chief Operating Officers, Chief Financial Officers and Chief Executive Officers) of companies including AT&T, Verizon, Campbell and Nabisco.

He moved to Arizona in 2000 to manage the wealth management division of a national CPA firm where he gained valuable experience working with business owners and their unique planning needs.

Dana Anspach CFP®
Principal / Financial Advisor

Dana M. Anspach, CFP® merged her practice with Wealth Management Solutions in 2005. She currently serves as a firm principal and financial advisor.

As a featured columnist for About.com, a subsidiary of the New York Times, she writes regularly as their Guide to Money Over 55. You can subscribe to her free weekly newsletter at www.moneyover55.about.com.

Dana serves as the primary advisor for clients who:

  • are near retirement or already retired;
  • need or will soon need regular income from their assets;
  • need retirement and tax planning advice;
  • either want to work on an hourly basis or, if they would like comprehensive planning services, have current investments in excess of $1 million.

Dana began practicing in 1995, previously working as Director of Financial Services at two CPA firms in the Phoenix area, as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in Colorado, and as a district manager at Waddell & Reed in Colorado.

These experiences led her to pursue fee-only financial planning as the only way to offer truly unbiased advice.

Kimberly Morton CFP®
Financial Advisor / Senior Financial Analyst

As a financial advisor for Wealth Management Solutions, Kim Morton works with clients to develop their financial plans, investment strategies and tax projections. She is responsible for designing numerous custom schedules that are used to analyze and compare alternative strategies for specific client situations.

In addition, she oversees all firm portfolio and financial planning software and implements changes in processes and systems that help us serve our clients more effectively. She is an incredible project manager, and as such works closely with all WMS staff to ensure that client work is completed in a timely manner.

Kim graduated from Arizona State University in May 2005 with a B.S. in Business Finance, studying financial analysis and corporate finance as well as accounting. She then took her CFP® courses while working at Wealth Management Solutions, and went on to pass her CFP® exam in November 2008.

Kim is also the proud parent of Cameron Joseph, born on February 4, 2009.

Jody Hulsey
Client Operations Manager

Jody Hulsey is the Client Operations Manager for Wealth Management Solutions. She provides raving customer service, is exceptionally detail oriented, and keeps everyone else at the firm on track.

For clients, she handles all Schwab customer service-related items such as setting up new accounts, transferring funds, ordering checks, online account access, and much more. In addition, with Kim Morton, she runs the software that prepares all client performance reports and manages all of the “behind the scenes” deadlines to make sure things happen in a timely manner.

She has been an administrative assistant in the public accounting field since 1990. She previously worked for Dana Anspach, one of the firm’s principals, in 2004-2005. She rejoined Dana in 2007 and, thanks to WMS's technological resources, is able to support the staff from her residence in Oregon.
